The North East and Cumbria Learning Disability Network was established in 2010, through the years we have successfully supported health and social care system leaders, teams and departments to deliver on a range of projects to tackle health inequalities and improve health outcomes for people with learning disability.

Other Achievements

• In 2015/16 we successfully secured funding for 4 years with Macmillan for a major programme of work, Improving Access to Cancer Services for People with a Learning Disability. The work continues to be developed and progressed in 2021 and beyond but more information around the project can be found using the resources link below.
