The Cancer Learning Disability Project

The Cancer Learning Disability Project works to improve cancer services and experiences for people with a learning disability, their families and carers. It is integrated into the work of the North East and Cumbria Learning Disability Network and works closely with the Northern Cancer Alliance.

The project supports work developments locally, regionally and nationally across the whole cancer pathway.

From 2016 to 2020 the project was funded by Macmillan, you can view the four year project report through this web link: https://www.ldn-cancer-project.uk/
